Chanu Mirabai: From lifting logs to weights, the woman who worked hard for two years at stretch

India's Chanu Saikhom Mirabai has made history. The weight-lifter has won silver medal in the ongoing Tokyo Olympics 2021. She has opened up medal account for India. This is a HUGE achievement for India. Since Karnam Malleswari, India had not won a medal in weight-lifting





As per Vijay Lokapally, Mirabai used to carry wooden logs to home daily and that became her inspiration to lift weights at international platforms
