One person dead, nine others hospitalized after consuming illicit brew

And onto a death in Nyahururu, where One person died and nine are admitted to hospital after consuming lethal brew suspected to have been laced with poisonous substances.
The home made brew is suspected to have been distributed in many villages as victims of the laced drink were drawn from different places. Most of those affected are said to be vomitting while some were unconscious. Three of the victims were treated and discharged while six were admitted at Nyahururu County referral hospital in critical condition.
