Here we have one of the top female CrossFit athletes in Australia @emilyat_ going through our Running Gait Analysis.
Emily came to us knowing she needed to improve her efficiency and strength in running as fatigue would always set in way too early and affect her technique.
As you can see from the first video, she actually has an ok technique to start with - no overstriding, decent cadence and stability…
After only a few specific drills, we were able to unleash the potential in her strong arms and legs to get her moving forward with intent.
From being a strong CrossFit athlete, she has all the power necessary to run with ease and strength. We just needed to unlock certain parameters to help cue her towards a more efficient, powerful technique.
With a little practice over the coming months, she will be adding running to her strengths in the gym and smashing the workouts one after another.
