I'm Scott Baade and I'm Carrie Bakunas and we are the Colorado leading team. We received a call one day from a gentleman that had been turned down by three other mortgage lenders. He had significant commission income, which is considered variable income in our world, which is typically commission plus bonus overtime.
The guidelines read that you have to have two years, a full two years of this income to be able to qualify. Well our lenders allow us to take the number of months divided by 24 months to get an average. So essentially we were able to take his 14 months of commission income and average it out over 24 months to get him qualified. And now he and his wife and their beautiful daughter are in their new home and they're so excited. So we are just very, very pleased that we were able to get this family a new home when three other lenders dropped the ball.
