Hello everyone!
Happy 75th Independence Day to all of you from TheUndergrads. Today we have come up with a discussion on the ins and outs of the book, ‘Malabar Rebellion: A Gandhian Oversight in Retrospect’ written by Advocate Biju Achuthan. Mr. Achuthan is an advocate practicing in Gujarat for the past 15 years in various courts. He mainly deals with cases related to Gujarat High Court, DRT, and NCLT cases in Ahmedabad.
The book's theme is very much centered on the Moplah riots that broke out during the Khilafat Movement and Non-Cooperation movement in Malabar in the early 20the century. This year marks the centenarian year of this incident.
