Lawyer and human rights advocate Atika Hussain says most young educated females she knows in Afghanistan whose "hopes" had been "nourished" the last 20 years are now in hiding out of fear for what the Taliban will do to them.
"I am in contact with them but our contact is very limited," she told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
"They choose to go into hiding they choose to go into groups to sort of support each other.
"But the fear for how they will be treated, the fear that what Taliban will do – we cannot say anything about that at the moment what the treatment of them will be."
