📕 REVIVAL & REFORMATION: EXPERIENCE WITH THE SHEPHERD 📕

📌 BIBLE TEXT:
"6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD
Forever."
(Psalms 23:6 NKJV)

📌 HIGHLIGHTS:
👉 Verse 6 is giving us David's GREATEST DESIRE!
👉 On verse 6, He is now GOD THE FATHER OF THE HOUSE

"One thing I have desired of the LORD,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the LORD
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the LORD,
And to inquire in His temple."
(Psalms 27:4 NKJV)

✅ SURELY means:
👉 It is certain
👉 It is trustworthy
👉 We can trust it!

✅ FOLLOW ME means:
👉 Shall pursue me
👉 Shall chess after me
👉 Shall run after me:

"GOODNESS and MERCY are God's Footmen!" (Charles Spurgeon )
👉 Footmen are early English noble man's bodyguards sitting on a carriage with 2 footmen on each side. 👈
👉 Footmen ensures that the nobleman arrives safely to his destination!
👉 Footmen ensure that they would clear the path as the carriage move on!
👉 Footmen would prepare the noble man's meals!
👉 Footmen will always look out for all the needs of the nobleman!
👉 Footmen ensures that everything goes according to the plan!

❤️ LIKE DAVID, WE ALSO NEED THOSE FOOTMEN: GOODNESS and MERCY ALL THE DAYS OF OUR LIVES! ❤️

Like David we also need GOODNESS and MERCY:

GOODNESS & MERCY ESSENTIAL POINTS:
✅ #1. HIS GOODNESS provides for me!
✅ #2. HIS MERCY heals, restores, pardons me!

God the Host is now God the Father of the House:

"Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people.

God, Himself will be with them and be their God."

👉 Revelation, at its end, a new world now appears: A NEW HOUSE APPEARS!!!

👉 The New JERUSALEM is the House:
🟢 NEW AND PERFECT
🟢 BEAUTIFIED with all perfection of WISDOM and GLORY!

"And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful."
(Revelation 21:5 NKJV)
👉 This is the house, no more temple, no more intermediary!
👉 This is the house, His love fully manifested to them now with His presence!
👉 This is the house, His Glory will be put upon them granting them PERFECT PEACE and PERFECT JOY!

🟢 Here, God and Mankind dwell forever under the same roof!!!
🟢 Here, the Sheep and Shepherd dwell forever under the same roof!!!
🟢 Here, God is finally established as the FATHER.
🟢 Here, time becomes ETERNITY!
