Manchester United are reportedly keen to bring a new midfielder to the club before this summer’s transfer window ends for business.
The 20-times English champions, head-coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed earlier this week that his team were unlikely to make another addition over the next few days, having already signed Raphael Varane ant Jadon Sancho.
However, according to The Independent, The Red Devils manager still wants to sign a new central midfielder, with the Norwegian still viewing that area of the stadium as a weak point.
The report suggests that West Ham United’s anchorman Declan Rice is Man United’s top transfer target, but the 20-time English champions might have to wait a year to lure him away from the London stadium.
The Red Devils are also believed to be considering a move for Brighton & Hove Albion’s versatile midfielder Yves Bissouma, who has been heavily linked with a departure from the Amex Stadium this summer.
