Hello everyone, this week at the chateau.
We fit the second entrance gates to the chateau, driving down the 200 meter tree lined drive you approach the huge pillars but lost of there beautiful iron gates. Hidden away in all the over growth for over 40 years, its was a fantastic discovery when we uncovered them early this year.
while hiring a digger to help with the front landscaping of the chateau and to save Tracys back, we through it is a great time to use the digger to help with reinstating the huge iron gate, not a easy task, but with some help from some friends we got the job done and what a fantastic job to do.
Tracy has been busy clearing the walled garden ready for our first chateau party, all traces hard work will be in next weeks videos, so don't miss it 😁

We are a family from the North-East of England following our dream to restore a beautiful abandoned french Château. We discovered the heart stopping Château De Lalacelle in summer of 2020, this beautiful architectural monument Is set in the countryside of North-West France.
The moment we visited the Château we all fell in love, from the beautiful sweeping landscape and forests, to its stunning untouched interiors and magnificent spiral staircase in the turret.
Unfortunately Château De Lalacelle has been abandoned for a number of decades so will need a lot of restoration and DIY.
