MPs jeer Sajid Javid as he announces face masks could be mandatory again | Covid-19

The Government may yet decide to mandate vaccine passports and the wearing of face masks in some settings, Sajid Javid has warned.

The Home Secretary, who on Tuesday set out the Covid winter plan to MPs in the Commons, highlighted the vaccine programme and Test and Trace as components of his "plan A", but admitted the "plan B" contained many draconian measures previously utilised. 

The Government may also ask people to work from home once again, Mr Javid warned. His announcement was met with jeers by MPs.
