"Once it's sold, it's sold!"
A collection of television adverts and continuity broadcast on TNT-9 Southern Cross Network in Launceston, Tasmania from Saturday, 3rd November 1990.
These were broadcast during an airing of the 1986 New Zealand (kinda) animated film "Footrot Flats: The Dog's Tale", followed by the original 1963 version of "The Pink Panther" (erroneously stated to be released in 1984 by the continuity announcer). The reception here is not great so the image is a bit fuzzy.
Local adverts include McBains Cycles (5:02), Leven/Riversdale Timber (13:36), Jimmy's Supermarket (16:58), Penguin Adventist School (22:32), Wills (27:11), and Mort Douglas Furniture Superstore (37:01). I had to remove an advert to avoid those copyright tyrants, but you'll never know which!
Included is a reading of the TattsLotto and Super 66 numbers with John Deeks and Marianne Van Dorslar (1:04). And there is a reading of the Keno numbers with Denis Walter (19:47).
Alas, there is no weather reading tonight. :(
This recording dates to Saturday, 3rd November 1990. I had no idea you could just look up historical lotto numbers from over three decades ago.
