A China-Europe freight train carrying exhibits for the fourth China International Import Expo (CIIE) arrived in Shanghai on Friday.
The train carrying 35 containers weighing about 460 tons, including intelligent vacuum flushing equipment and motor parts, arrived at the Minhang freight station of Shanghai.
After it departed from Hamburg on October 7, the train crossed Poland, Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan before it entered China at Alataw Pass, providing fast transportation for imported goods of cross-border e-commerce to reach the exhibition center of the CIIE.
To guarantee the safety and transport efficiency of exhibits and to strictly implement the anti-COVID-19 regulations, customs and railroad stations cooperate in epidemic prevention, disinfection and inspection of all inbound containers. According to the epidemic prevention guidelines of the CIIE, the transportation service providers must go through the disinfection procedures of the whole vehicle before departing.
The successful returned trip of the train special for the CIIE marks the official operation of the two-way China-Europe freight train line between Shanghai and Hamburg, and opens a brand-new channel for enterprises in Europe and along the route to participate in the CIIE.
载有第四届中国国际进口博览会（CIIE）展品的中欧货运列车于周五抵达上海。
这列载有35个重约460吨集装箱的列车，包括智能真空冲洗设备和电机部件，抵达上海闵行货运站。
10月7日，列车从汉堡出发，途经波兰、白俄罗斯、俄罗斯、哈萨克斯坦，在阿拉山口进入中国，为跨境电商进口货物快速抵达进博会展览中心。
为保证展品的安全和运输效率，并严格执行反 新冠 规定，海关和火车站合作对所有入境集装箱进行防疫、消毒和检查。根据进博会防疫指南，运输服务提供者必须在出发前对整车进行消毒程序。
进博会专列成功返程，标志着上海至汉堡双向中欧班列正式运营，为欧洲及沿线企业参与进博会开辟了全新的渠道。
