Healthy matar paneer in less oil | Basic Matar paneer for beginners | matar paneer for healthy diet

This Healthy Matar Paneer in less oil is made using just 2 tbsp of oil. This is the most basic recipe that is suitable for Beginners. It uses simple ingredients readily available at home. You can easily find Paneer in Indian dairies and most Indian grocery stores outside India. Or else even make it easily at home by curdling milk.
I used fresh Home-made Paneer, for this healthy mattar paneer recipe. Store bought Paneer will hold better shape, but home made paneer is softer and more delicious!
You can skip mattar shown in this recipe if you like a pure paneer curry too.
This curry is an excellent combination with basmati rice, most Indian Flatbreads like Roti, Chapathi, Naan, Porotta, etc.. Its good for Lunch, Dinner as well as a Lunch Box item. Do try this and let me know your feedback in the Comments Section below this video.

Ingredients for Matar Paneer Ingredients for Matar Paneer (Green Peas - Cottage Cheese Curry) :
Paneer (Indian Cottage Cheese) - 250 gm .
Matar (Green Peas) - 150 gm
Gingelly oil - 2 tbsp. (tablespoon)
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Onions chopped - 300 gms
Tomatoes chopped - 190 gms
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp. (teaspoon)
Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 and 1/2 tsp.
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp.
Cumin seeds powder - 1/2 tsp.
Coriander seeds powder - 1 and 1/2 tsp
Garam masala (mix of Green Cardamom, Black Cardamom, Cloves, Cinnamon, Fennel Seeds, Star Anise, Bay Leaves) - 1/2 tsp.
Kasuri Methi (Dried Fenugreek leaves) - 1 tsp
Fresh Slit Green Chillies - 1 or 2
Water - As per desired consistency of curry
Salt - as per taste
