Shroud RIPS Battlefield 2042 Bloom, Players UNHAPPY

Shroud was one of many streamers to have some serious issues and complaints during the early release event for Battlefield 2042.

Shroud was initially excited to stream Battlefield 2042’s early access on his Twitch channel, but 3 hours into the event, he had played 3 matches thanks to numerous disconnects and technical bugs and glitches forcing him to restart the game, abandon matches, or just not connect to Battlefield servers at all. And while Shroud did have a good time when he managed to make it into a Battlefield 2042 game, he came away with a lot of complains about EA’s new AAA title.

Like many streamers and players, Shroud’s biggest complaint was with how overpowered the vehicles were in Battlefield 2042, saying that it felt like you needed a nuke to take them out, and they just rolled over players for easy kills. Other complaints raised by Shroud and others included poor mobility, bad squad management, terrible animations on weapons, lack of customization, and many, many other complaints.

So Battlefield 2042 didn’t have the glowing Twitch launch it was hoping for, with major technical issues, huge bugs preventing games from connecting, and a lot of backlash from players and streamers. Hopefully some of these are addressed before the official release this week, otherwise the shelf life of Battlefield 2042 on Twitch could literally just be days before everyone moves on to another title.
