TERRORIST ATTACK AFTERMATH: Crime scenes still cordoned off, many businesses not accessible

With the roads closed in the aftermath of two explosions in Kampala on Tuesday, people doing business in the affected places have called for an expedited investigation to enable them to return to work.

The bombs exploded outside the Kampala Metropolitan Police headquarters or CPS as it is usually called on Buganda Road and the second one went off on Parliamentary Avenue.

Because of its location, Kooki Towers, a shopping arcade near the station is under lock and key and the roads surrounding it closed. Police say the situation will be back to normal by Thursday.
