Sky News host James Morrow says it will be “very hard” for the Republicans to lose the midterm elections as long as Joe Biden is “out there stepping on rakes and making life difficult for ordinary Americans”.
It comes after the Democrats lost the Virginia gubernatorial race in a state which Joe Biden won by 10 points at the 2020 election.
Mr Morrow argued the Democrats lost the Virginia election because they have failed to stand up for “basic normal things”.
“All you have to do is just simply stand up for basic normal things like the rights of parents to decide whether or not their kids are going to be taught insane critical race theory stuff and trans ideology and all sorts of other bonkers things,” he said.
“The idea that police are important and should not be defunded but they should be allowed to do their jobs.
“This is real basic bread and butter stuff that actually Democrats used to be all about and the Democrats have completely forgotten that.”
