Welcome to Movie Shortens. Vincent Freeman (Ethan Hawke) has always dreamed to travel to space. However, in this futuristic world, his status as a genetically inferior "in-valid" keeps him grounded. He decides to fight his fate by purchasing the genes of a "valid" athlete Jerome Morrow (Jude Law). He adopts Jerome's DNA and joins the Gattaca space program. Here he meets and falls in love with Irene (Uma Thurman), also a valid crew member. Vincent's plans are complicated by an investigation into the death of a Gattaca officer. What would be his fate after all?
