Installing a DITRA-HEAT Power Module --- Bedroom, Bathroom, and Shower HEATED TILE FLOOR

Schluter Ditra-Heat is a popular choice for heating porcelain, stone, and ceramic floors. While many different heat sources can be used in a home, electric radiant flooring is especially nice if you are installing porcelain tile floors. Sometimes, large areas of flooring such as bedrooms require more than one thermostat because they typically only can power only up to 225 square feet as long as a 240 volt circuit is powering it. For 120 volt circuits, the maximum square footage per thermostat is 135 square feet.
In order to supply additional power to the large heated floor cables, a power module is necessary if you want to control the entire floor area with one thermostat. Several power modules can be combined to heat as large of an area as needed.
