Across New Zealand, you'll find unmanned shops that are based on honesty. Kiwi farmers set up stalls on the roadside outside their homes and sell their fruit and vegetables for low prices directly to motorists. The farmer isn't at the stall, though! An honesty box is there where customers leave the correct amount for what they take.
