It's nighttime at HERD and Khanyisa is settling down for a night of rest after a day of adventures with the Jabulani herd.
When Khanyisa isn't out in the wilderness with the herd, she's at the HERD orphanage with her dedicated companion sheep, Lammie, and Nungu.✨
When in her nursery, Khanyisa is given a variety of delicious leafy branches to munch on, as well as plenty of Bana Grass, which is a firm favourite. She continues to receive a milk bottle every three hours, throughout the night and is quick to arise from her slumber when she smells it.
In this video, we see Lammie and Nungu making the most of the remaining sunlight to get a few more mouthfuls of grass in, while Khanyisa greets Adine inside the nursery. We then head over to check on the herd, who are situated right beside the nursery. Khanyisa is able to hear and smell them, knowing they are always close to her, throughout the night.
Goodnight and sweet dreams, Khanyisa and family! New adventures await you in the morning. ☀️
