Innovation Needed in Supply Chain Management

Innovation Needed in Supply Chain Management

Transcript
Where we are today is that security and the biggest challenges I see and opportunities I see are with supply chain management. True reassessment of how we tackle supply chain risk, understand it, how we manage that supply chain risk through a very, very complex environment that government and commercial sector really are just meaning to look back and say "You know, some of our vendor management and supply chain risk assessments were very cursory and at the lowest common denominator." And really that supply chain, the complexity of that has become so strong that the impact of those are really I think under assessed right now. And so, both I think the services side of it, and how to manage vendor management, supply chain risk management are an area for innovation. But also the technology and solutions that can be integrated into that and the depth of which they can go across the supply chain. I think there's huge opportunities in both of those.
