Youngsters in Hong Kong engage in real-time conversation with three astronauts as they orbit Earth on board China’s Tiangong space station. The mainland’s space programme launched the trio – Nie Haisheng, Liu Boming and Tang Hongbo – on their mission in June 2021. The space station’s first long-term inhabitants will spend three months living and working in the Tianhe core module, about 380km (230 miles) above the planet’s surface.
