Welcome to the Bayview Motel of Absecon, New Jersey. Located off Route 40 outside Atlanctic City, this strip of seedy motels had been named "the Corridor of Death" by an article in the New York times after four women were found murdered and dumped in a ditch behind the Golden Key Motel in 2006. The killer, known as the “Eastbound Strangler” has never been identified.
On another strange instance, an Alligator was found in the pool of the Bayview Inn and Suites after a drug raid in 2017. It was claimed to be part of a rap video. The reptile was moved to an animal reserve in Tampa, Florida.
