Lake Mead just hit a new record low water level. The water level has dropped so much that California, Nevada and Arizona are discussing a new proposal, referred to as the 500+ agreement, that would leave an extra 500,000 acre-feet of water in the Lake Mead reservoir each year for the next few years.
We also take a look at the snowpack levels to try to get an idea of how this winters snow accumulation will impact Lake Mead in the 2022 spring runoff.
